Guild Mission
The St. Albans Artists' Guild is organized as an educational, not-for-profit corporation in the State of Vermont. The purposes of the corporation are as follows:
- St. Albans Artists' Guild shall endeavor to recognize artists. In our recognition of these artists, the St. Albans Artists' Guild shall aim to distinguish those with us now, those no longer with us, and those we identify as new and aspiring artists.
- The St. Albans Artists' Guild shall attempt to draw a distinction and personalize the recognition of our aspiring artists through master classes that will be conducted by artists. The master classes may also include additional showings throughout the year,
- The St. Albans Artists' Guild will promote these artists through an annual art exhibit to be held in St. Albans.
- The St. Albans Artists' Guild will also operate a student artist’s internship program.
- The St. Albans Artists' Guild will promote greater appreciation of art and artistic education and serve as a catalyst to promote cultural enrichment.
- The St. Albans Artists' Guild will carry out any other related activities permitted a corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
