About the Guild

The St. Albans Artists' Guild is a varied group of artists working in a wide variety of media. Our membership consists of artists and non-artists who wholeheartedly support the Guild in its endeavors to encourage artists and to bring the work of its members to the Franklin County public and beyond.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced artist our membership is a non-juried membership and open to all visual artists living in and about the Franklin County area.

We offer assorted Master Classes which may include instruction in different media, drawing, and photography. Instructors may be one of our member artists or a recognized artist/photographer from outside our membership who is willing to give their time and instruction.

We also work with Saint Albans for the Future (SAFF) the Friends of the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge and others in our community to help coordinate community events and benefits which include the visual arts.

When you join The Saint Albans Artists’ Guild you can participate in the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge Project, Art in the Park on Celebrate St. Albans Day, and you can exhibit your art in one of our major galas or showings, and other events as they occur.

We started the Gwen Gallup Scholarship Fund which will offer a scholarship to high school students in the Franklin County area who are involved in the arts and will continue to pursue the arts in their continuing education.

Our annual membership year is from May 1 to April 30 and you do not have to be an artist to join! We welcome supporters from our community as well. If you are an artist or are interested in promoting artists and local art, please consider joining us.
